Liplase Laser

The Liplase Laser is a comfortable non-invasive laser treatment that plumps and tightens the lips for a youthful appearance. The Liplase Laser provides the optimal balance between immediate tissue tightening (superficial contraction) and new collagen formation (long-term rejuvenation).

Benefits of The Liplase Laser

What Is The LipLase Laser?

This is a multi-tasking laser that utilises a combination of Nd:YAG and Er:YAG wavelengths for versatility in a wide range of applications. The Nd:YAG wavelength is designed to reach the deepest layers of the skin whereas the Er:YAG wavelength focuses on surface irregularities for a multi-layered effect.

Ageing And Skin Laxity

Collagen and elastin are two vital components that provide structural support to the skin and these are produced by specialised skin cells known as fibroblasts. As we age, our fibroblasts tend to slow down and we produce less collagen and elastin, resulting in fine lines and loose skin. Therefore, lasers can be used to stimulate our fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin, for a gradual and natural age reversal and improved skin quality.

The Smooth® Mode

The SMOOTH® mode is a non-ablative long pulse mode which delivers heat energy uniformly and precisely, ideal for skin tightening. The intense, controlled surface tissue heating stimulates collagen remodeling and initiates neocollagenesis. The result is an overall improvement in fine lines, structure and volume of the lips.

What Can I Expect From A Liplase Laser Treatment?
The Liplase Laser is a 3-step treatment that takes about 15-20 minutes. It is a comfortable treatment and topical anaesthesia is not typically required. The entire perioral region is treated from the inside out. Starting from inside the mouth, the wet areas of the lips are treated for deeper skin tightening and structural improvements. Thereafter, the dry areas of the lips are treated for superficial collagen stimulation. There is minimal downtime and you may return to your usual activities after.
