When assessing the face, we usually split it into thirds. The ideal facial proportion is such that each section of the face should be equal lengthwise. Often, dermal fillers can be used to augment a small and receded chin and restore balance to our facial proportions. Elongating the chin also gives the appearance of a slimmer, v shaped face.
