  • Avoid skin irritation (acids, retinoids, peels, scrubs) 2-3 days prior to treatment.
  • Avoid intentional skin tanning 2 weeks prior.
  • Arrive for treatment with clean cleansed skin.

The eMatrix™ Sublative RF Skin Revitalisation treatment is safe to use on a variety of skin types. It's great for adults who are looking to reduce fine wrinkles, and their skin textural problems such as light acne scars or enlarged pores.

You should avoid having eMatrix™ Sublative RF Skin Revitalisation if you are pregnant or have been on Accutane within the past 6 months.

In addition, patients with pacemakers, internal defibrillators, or metal implants in the area of concern should not have these treatments. Patients who have diabetes, autoimmune disease, history of cold sores or have had injectable fillers in the area to be treated should let us know prior to having the treatment.

Expected side effects are redness and swelling after the procedure should subside in 48 hours. Any resurfacing procedure can result in a scar or infection, although this is exceedingly rare. We have not experienced any darkening or lightening of the skin as a result of eMatrix, although theoretically, this is possible. Before treatment, our doctors will personally discuss all potential risks and side effects with you.
