Dermalift

The Dermalift procedure is also known as the ‘liquid facelift”. It started a trend in Korea as a quick, safe and effective lunchtime lift. Used for a reduction in lines for the entire face, this procedure works by injecting diluted Dysport into the skin layer), instead of into the facial muscles. This results in the stimulation of the fibroblast cells in the skin layer to cause the tightening of collagen fibres.

The tightening of collagen fibres gives a lifting effect to the face when the Dermalift targets specific points. Additionally, pores are also tightened and the skin becomes smoother.

What Can Dermalift Treat?

Dermalift is known to treat:

  • Wrinkles around eyebrows and eyes
  • Square jaws
  • Round face
  • Enlarged pores

How Does Dermalift Work?

The injection technique differs from standard injections, as the toxin is injected into the skin layer instead of the facial muscles. The fibroblast cells in the skin layer will cause the tightening of collagen fibres, creating a lifting effect on the face. This technique allows patients to animate freely after the Dermalift procedure as the injection and concentration of the toxin used will not “freeze” the patient’s face.

The Favourable Results Of A Dermalift Non-Surgical Facelift Can Include:

  • Decrease in the look of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Toned and lifted facial muscles – especially around drooping lower eyelids and jowls
  • Firmer face shapes
  • Tighter pores resulting in better-looking skin
  • Improved look of scars
  • Noticeably reduced puffiness and shadows around the eyes

How Is It Different From Botox?

The greatest difference lies in the injection technique and concentration used. Dermalift is administered into the intradermal layers, while botox is delivered into the muscle. Botox aims at reducing muscle contractions while Dermalift aims at creating a skin smoothening effect instead.
