Profhilo®

Profhilo® is an injectable anti-aging treatment for skin hydration and firming. It consists of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acids which are cross-linked to form a hybrid cooperative complex (HCC). This hyaluronic acid not only binds to water to improve skin hydration but also has a bio-remodelling effect on the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production for improved skin firmness.

BAP Technique

Profhilo® is traditionally injected using the Bio-Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique, which involves 5 injections on each side of the face. Immediately after a typical Profhilo® treatment, there will be visible bumps on the face where the product was injected. This can take up to 24 hours to resolve as the product spreads out in the skin.

Profhilo® Enhanced

At VIDASKIN, we have developed Profhilo Enhanced to improve comfort, minimise downtime and enhance your results. We use 50% more product, delivered using a cannula technique. There will be 1-2 injection points on each side of the face, compared to the 5 injection points required for the BAP technique. A cannula is a blunt needle and this is used to spread out product across a large area. There are no visible bumps after a Profhilo® Enhanced treatment and with 50% more product, the results are.. You guessed it, ENHANCED.
